Today again a quiet day. So I drove/took public transport to the valley station of the Schmittenhöhebahn and then comfortably went up to the summit ⬆️
Afterwards, with bags and baggage, I went to the Sonnkogel-Alm.
I ate and drank deliciously and for the child there was a huge playground to let off steam

The ascent is as always arduous, but the hospitality of Mäx, Isabella and co. makes up for everything 😊

Today we went not far from our accommodation to Alm Rieser Aste.
Short, crisp ascent 🥵 but as a reward there was delicious bacon 🥓 with egg 🍳 or a Käsekrainer. The beer 🍺 and schnapps were not to be missed, of course. 🥰

Day 3.....sch....Weather 😢 Rain ☔️🌧️ without end and unfortunately little sun ☀️...
So the tour was replanned... and unfortunately skipped the Palfneralm and made good use of the Gollehenalm instead. With a delicious snack, beer/water and schnapps, the weather couldn't do anything to us. 😎

Probably the most strenuous ascent with just under 400m of elevation gain over 4km awaited us today to enjoy the delicious food at Bräualm 🤩
Initially accompanied by light clouds, the sun ☀️ blessed us with its full power over the course of the day. 💪

For the first day of this year's hiking vacation, we went this year to Hinterglemm to the Saal Alm.
With mixed weather 🌦️ with light drizzles, everyone looked forward to the break at the Alm.

Today, with much more pleasant weather, the entire vacation crew went to the Buksche Schweiz viewing tower.
We took a short break there 🍺 before lingering at Café Kastanienhof with delicious Bockwurst 🌭 and farmer's breakfast.
After the horses 🐎 were inspected and petted at the horse farm, we headed back.

On Easter Saturday, we went to the reservoir in Stollberg. Unfortunately, in adverse weather conditions with clouds ☁️, storm 🌬️, and rain 🌧️. Well, you make the best of it 🤷🏼♂️

Beautiful walk and I must say it's really well done: cyclists separated from pedestrians by bushes. Simply top 👍
