Just went for a walk 🥾. Up the Schnodderbach in Wetter (it really is called that), down the Ruhrhöhenweg to Herdecke.
After a very delicious stop 🍰☕ at Hagenkötter, I continued over the bridge towards Werdringen.
The newly discovered path surprised with a lot of steps, but they were manageable 😀.

Started at Haus Scheppen along Baldeneysee, but today we went past the weir towards Werden.
A very good decision, as it turned out.
On the way was the beautiful park 🌳 on Brehminsel, then through the historic old town 🍰, before we hit the Baldeneysteig, which brought us back to Haus Scheppen.

See, the good is so close"... and one wonders. Right on our doorstep, we have this beautiful park 🌳🌸 in Wuppertal Elberfeld.
A great botanical garden with greenhouses and a current book market.....and poof, the backpack got heavier 😉.
In the middle is the Elisenturm with a café.

Up to Ollt Winteberg and a cozy round to look at the area, admire butterflies and pick blackberries. We were surprised how many ripe fruits were already hanging on the branches.
Cooked berry compote with sago at home, only vanilla ice cream 🍨 is missing.

After breakfast, we set off on one of our favorite routes and, thanks to Komoot, discovered a new trail that led us back to Dürholt via shady paths instead of through the blazing sun.

🌦️ Vom Schwelmer Friedhof über die Weuste 🦋
Über den Schwelmer Friedhof (der schon ausgezeichnet wurde 👍) hoch zum Ehrenberg und über die Weuste Richtung Tal der Brambecke.

🌥️ Vom Winterberg nach Königsfeld...

Der Wind hat uns ordentlich durchgepustet, der Schirm konnte im Rucksack bleiben. Eine ganz entspannte Runde mit lieben Menschen.

Thanks to the cows that blocked the exit across the meadow, we had to take a detour which then messed up our entire planning.
