Sun and snow. Perfect for a lovely walk around the area. But enough is enough... today, February 15th, marks the end of winter and it's high time for spring! :)

10-15cm of snow. For the first time in 15 years, at least a week of "winter" again. WONDERFUL.

Wow. This is a must-do, Skrelia! One of the coolest things I've ever done.

The highest point (Skogefjell 225m) on this headland was today's goal. I'd already learned that many paths in this area are more like overgrown trails with sometimes very sparse markings. So, climbing this peak was a bit of an adventure, too. At least at this time of year with plenty of rain. But it was definitely worth it! :)

A tough test for the equipment. Crawling around on rocks in the forest in the rain isn't exactly sensible, but it was worth it. Turning back wasn't an option either. Don't forget your swimwear if the weather is good!

Contrary to expectations, cool weather set in, and we embarked on our first excursion through the primeval forests of southern Norway. With my little sister along, we climbed onto the "shoulder" with a panoramic view of the Grønsfjorden, across the North Sea, and to the neighboring fjord! Awesome trip!

A surprisingly beautiful tour. I hadn't realized the Upper Alster lowlands were so worth seeing. Obviously, much of it has been left to nature... Unfortunately, there was also an Alster crossing that simply wasn't there anymore... an official detour. :) Overall, highly recommended.

Pentecost 2025. Another hike from Schenefeld to Kaltenkirchen. The longest route so far, at over 48 km. Considerably less fit than last year, it was still quite tough in the end... The weather held up so far. The light showers were rather pleasant. :)

Was there a lot going on on the Elbe? Or were they all at the landing stage?

The idea was to visit all seven elevations in Blankenese. Although I've been in the area several times before, I still had many new views and impressions. Some of the hilltops are built on, and the highest point isn't quite reachable (Tabea Hospital on Polterberg or the waterworks on Baursberg), but
