Today's stage leads from Portreath to Hayle with approx. 20 km. Again, a very beautiful morning awaits me after the hearty English breakfast has been consumed. In Portreath, it's straight down to business, as some altitude meters have to be quickly conquered. After that, there are two more gorges to

In the morning, the start was still mystical, as the lake mist kept coming up onto the plateau, but it was also beautiful. The hike started in Perranporth and ended in Portreath. The tour is already very strenuous and you need some stamina. Again, I can only say, the coastal path is simply fantastic.

Today's hike takes us from Newquay to Perranporth on the South West Coast Path. The bays are already partially busy, as it is summer holidays here, which does not bother us on the hiking trail, as it is quite empty. Today too, the weather god is kind to us, he grants us 25*C. It is a real pleasure to

Today we hiked north from our accommodation and back. The coast is so fantastically beautiful that you can't believe you are in England. Even though it mostly goes along the coast, new fantastic views always await you. The South West Coast Path is really recommended. The above-average 28 * Celsius temperatures

Arrived in England (Newquay), we take a quick look at the coast. The first view alone is fantastic and the weather is expected to remain stable for the next few days. From tomorrow, we will continue on the South West Coast Path.

We enjoyed a piece of Hamburg again. The hike is more of a placeholder, as I kept forgetting to restart the watch, but oh well. So, a few impressions that you might enjoy.

Today was probably the last or second to last tour before heading to South England on August 11th for the South West Coast Path. I'll only be hiking a section there, just to test things out a bit first 😉. I think my muscles are fit enough. I also want to mention again that there are various beautiful

We are already keeping an eye out to see if the heath is starting to bloom, which we can confirm. We park our car at Handeloh station, where our tour starts. A few heath sheep (made of wood) stand by the wayside, we walk a part of the Heidschnuckenweg. The path first runs through meadows and heathland

Today I am hiking on already known paths, however I have incorporated one or two detours. My idea is to hike on identical paths in different seasons and thus capture the face of nature with some motifs. Therefore, my gaze wanders to the left and right today, what photographic motifs will I find here

Move your muscles under a blue sky with fluffy clouds and go for a little spin. Nothing exciting, but always beautiful. Always looking for new photo opportunities, just stroll along.

With a blue sky and warm temperatures, we can now enjoy our final tour in the Harz. It's clear that it's the weekend today, as the parking lot is much fuller compared to yesterday. Today's tour is rather a short one, as we will have to spend a few hours in the car later. In any case, the Harz will see

To the Brocken in the most beautiful sunshine and blue sky. At the start in the morning, the clouds were still relatively low and the Brocken kept hiding now and then, but that ended after a short time. Such a hike with this weather is a dream. We enjoyed this tour very much. The snorting steam horses

Today's tour starts with a rather grey sky, as is often the case, you can't trust the weather apps. But a hiker knows no bad weather, so we also got some rain over our ears 😅. We found the tour very good and varied, it starts with the small hidden paths in Wernigerode. The views of the castle were also

And once again we are in the Harz mountains in sunny weather. We start the first hike right in Wernigerode, although various construction works are currently being carried out at the castle. From there, we continue towards Christianental. A very nice detour. The giant sequoias there are awesome. Almost as big as in the USA.

Today's tour from Hayle to Saint Ives is rather flat and goes through villages with beautiful houses and gardens. Of course, you'll reach the water in between. It's a shorter section that brings a few more altitude meters just before Saint Ives. Saint Ives is a small, cute town that is, however, heavily influenced by tourism.
