Hiking in the Peak District to enjoy the different views the Peak District has to offer, I try and get out most weekends.
Enjoying taking in classic routes and trying new routes especially some lesser walked places.

The Bronte Way loop from Haworth

This is a really interesting walk with some great views, while knowing that you are walking the same places the Brontë sisters once walked and got inspired to write their books

A great day for a hike starting off at Bolton Abbey before heading out to Barden reservoir and Aqueduct Bridge, then heading back down to Bolton Abbey through Strid wood and seeing the Strid a narrow area where the river is forced through

A great little 5 Mile hike from Ashover going up to Ashover Rock for some stunning views of the Derbyshire Countryside. The weather was very changeable from being sunny to rainy and back. The Stepping stones were not passable so had to change the route.

A beautiful day for a hike so nice to see the sun after all the rain we have recently had. Starting off at Gradbach with a small car park make sure you get early to get a spot. First you will walk out towards the Three Shires Head where three shires meet in the Peak District, it was looking really spectacular today. From there you will walk towards Cumberland Brook Waterfalls, which is off the main path where you walk up past many little waterfalls along a stream before getting to the waterfall which is more of a serenity type of waterfall for me. Then you will walk down alongside the Cumberland brook which was stunning. Walk out towards Wincle and DaneBrige. When at Wincle if you want there is a brewery where you can get ice cream. Then you will head up towards Luds Church where before you get there you can enjoy the impressive views over Staffordshire, and the walk through Luds Church before heading back to the car park

A great hike to take in three of the beset views in the Peak District. Start off in Hathersage where if you get there early enough there is normally some free parking, Before you head up past North Lees Hall and onto Stanage Edge. Walk across the boggy moors towards Bamford Edge, This gives you the chance to have some great vies looking over Ladybower and both Ashopton Viaduct and Ladywbower Viaduct. Head down through the woods before getting to the Ladybower Plugs which were defiantly working today after all the rain. Then you will Head up to Win Hill up the Path next to Parkin Clough, which is one of the best ways to get to Win Hill with the Waterfall running down as you hike up. Win Hill gives great 360 vies of the peak district, before heading down to Hope an then an steady stroll next to river Derwent, this was a very muddy and slippery today. The river was very fast flowing and high today.
