My closest ever encounter with a heron - eye level, sitting on a railing in Ada Salter Garden. I couldn't have been running very fast because I passed less than 2m away and she barely flinched! 😂

New perspective on a familiar loop - featuring a tame fox scavenging for food, a man sat inside a large circle (murder?!) of crows, and a jay dropping to the floor beside me to grab a butterfly. 🩵

Savernake stroll
The bird song was incredible today - such a welcome change from parakeets! Also got barked at by a muntjac, saw a pretty blue butterfly, and spotted a little mouse. Then halfway round my nephew said 'I can see the drops falling off you'..!! 😅💦

I AM NOT BUILT FOR THIS WEATHER!! Thankfully the tree cover in the park is delightful, 10/10 would recommend.
Bumped into some friends on my final fast km so got to have a natter and a look at the gorgeous goslings together before heading for home. :)
