Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass die Wanderung so schön sein würde. Es war bestes Wanderwetter und die ersten Km waren wir praktisch allein unterwegs auf einem schmalen Wanderweg durch eine wirklich schöne Natur. Danach ging es an den Rhein mit sehr schönen Fotomotiven bevor es dann auf die letzten 2,5 km auf Asphalt entlang an Plantagen ging. War schon ein bisschen nervig, aber nicht zu ändern. Keine 5 Sterne Tour, aber eine fette 4.

A very nice hike with a holiday feeling, and we chatted with two very nice gentlemen who explained to us a) the redesign of the Emscher River and b) the spoonbills on a pond. It's amazing to see how quickly nature has responded to the newly created areas during the Emscher redesign, creating veritable carpets of wildflowers.
