From the Altona S-Bahn station to the station in Blankenese. We walk long stretches along the light, fine sand beach. Every now and then, we can take a short break at a café with a view of the water, ships of all sizes, and once even numerous helicopters. Swings and "love" punctuate the path 😊.

In the old region, it's definitely better to cycle than walk. Some roads just seem to never end—they stretch out long and straight. We did find a few nice spots, though. I liked the Estedeich dike and the Schülau-Lühe ferry. We had delicious jam at a dike house. A nice idea.
