Beautiful late afternoon ride out to Holme Pierpont. The path around the rowing lake is now free of floodwater π₯³ a beautiful sunset, quite a few Little Egrets wading around the lake edges, such graceful birds. π

Another nice day! A good morning ride out... Up over the "camel humps" between Bradmore and Plumtree, phew! π Snowdrops looking lovely... The path around Holme Pierpont regatta lake is sort of passable unti you get to the main building, that part is all very wet n floody! π

Lovely morning/lunchtime bike ride with my brother. Haven't seen a Sparrowhawk in ages! Not a great photo, but what a magnificent bird! Anyhoo - we carried on down to Victoria embankment then looped back and paid a little visit to Highfields park. ππ

ο»Ώ@Si-Cling π΅ββοΈπΆββοΈο»Ώ We get a Sparrowhawk in our garden regularly catching birds, trouble is it's so quick, it pounces, covers it's catch and is away in a few seconds, I think it's hunting days in our garden are numbered as the giant conifer we have that it hunts from is coming down very soon.
