After weeks off the bike, getting the motivation to get back out is always the toughest part 😫 Lucky I have good mate and brother to give me that kick to go😊 and so glad I did, after a cold and frosty start. 🥶 The winter sun shone through, warmed us up, for a beautiful loop of our simply stunning

A known route of quiet roads from Bristol to Somerton and then a mixture of horrible A roads, cycle paths and country lanes to complete the journey.
A £12 train ticket home was half of the cost of the food and drink needed to sustain the effort but a good day out.
A good route for a weekend overnighter

We went in full wet weather gear, expecting a lot of 🌧 🌦 in the end we were lucky, one shower, but a lot of water and mud on the trails.....Again Gus motivated me to get out, with his help to get me back to fitness 👍😊 We also did a bit of recon, on Coleford Cyclocross course and some route planning
