Today's excursion was also half by bike and half on foot. We took the bike path from Norddorf via Nebel to Wittdün. There we walked along the boardwalk to the Nehrungssee and then to Kniepsandhagen. Beautiful!!

After a hearty breakfast at Kreuzberg Monastery, we set off for home. We headed via Gersfeld, Eichenzell, Fulda, and Hünfeld (where we had a delicious lunch at the "Bimbel" (a traditional German beer festival)) to Eiterfeld and finally Konrode. All in all, a fantastic bike tour.

Today, almost exactly a year later, we set off on the Konrode tour to Kreusberg again. We had cloudy skies with a strong headwind, but everything was manageable. Arriving at the monastery, we were rewarded with blue skies. Fantastic. We had a good meal and drank a good amount of monastery beer. It's definitely worth a trip. :)
