Cinder Track Scarborough to Whitby
What a fantastic cycling route! If you haven't tried it out yet, get your bike and go there. Fabulous views of the coastline, fields and the hills. Various surface: a bit of a tarmac and the rest gravelled or natural. Quite a bit of elevation for a manual bike but doable.

It's always a pleasure to ride along that part of the Trans Pennine Trail especially if you drop in for the best BESTMO (bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, mushroom and onion) sarnie at the Magic Wood Cafe.
This ride was one of the wettest but as they say: there isn't a bad weather, it's the bad clothing

A very easy ride to discover what this part of Yorkshire is about😜 I've found a beautiful rock formation, called Brimham Rocks, 20 miles away from Wetherby, but I haven't worked out how to get there safely from Wetherby as I try to avoid road cycling as much as possible.
