We mostly followed the Franconian Mountain Trail along a few streams, but this time we preferred Wonsee's Sanspareil in favor of a stop - the inn was on vacation, but the café had everything we needed to keep us from getting tired. At Tiefenelleen we missed the right turnoff to the sinter terraces and crossed it off-road - not recommended for imitation. However, after an arduous ascent, we enjoyed the beautiful beech forest.
