The Zugspitze was supposed to be climbed for the second time today. After the Reintal, this time we're going over the Stopselzieher to Germany's highest mountain. As is often the case in the Alps, the usual suspects are @Becks and @Stephan. This approach is actually considered the shortest route to the

Off we went for two wonderful days of hiking, during which we planned to hike through the Soiern Group with @Becks and @Isie. We started at the Seinsalm parking lot, where we also returned on Sunday.
We set off in dry weather, but it started raining in the middle of the switchbacks on the ascent to the

Sunday = hiking time, every four weeks Friday = bowling season. What does this have to do with each other? Nothing, really, except that it gave Becks and me the opportunity to meet up for today's hike. The route was agreed upon as a tour through our home region. As planned, we set off at 7:30 a.m. from

That's how quickly it can go when the days are full of hiking highlights: our last day in the Allgäu has dawned and the time has flown by. Today, our last official act was to make our way back to Oberstdorf.
The start was of course at the Prinz-Luipold-Haus. The Laufbacher Eck served as an intermediate

That went quickly! Today is already the fourth day of our hike in the Allgäu, it's crazy how quickly the time has passed! But today was to be another absolute highlight. The plan was to climb the Hochvogel via the Kreuzspitze (2367 m). Since the tour wasn't supposed to be too long, we were able to take

Today we wanted to tackle a long hiking stage, which according to the signs should take nine hours. So we set off quite early from the Kemptner Hut to our destination, the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus. Right from the start, everything was mostly covered in fog and visibility was often zero. This was of course

The second day was supposed to be one of the highlights of our Allgäu tour. And I can say in advance that the day lived up to our expectations. The Hohe Licht and the Heilbronner Weg were on the agenda.
While we couldn't see anything at all at the Rappenseehütte yesterday because of the fog, today was

Five Sauerland boys, an idea and a desire for a few carefree days of hiking in the Allgäu. That was the origin of the tour, which was in our heads sometime in autumn 2023. After everyone had given their approval, we could start with the implementation and organization. The huts were booked early and

Passt!🤙🥾🥾😃
