A wonderful ride today along an old railway. The weather was perfect. I absolutely love riding over treeline and this trail was about 20k over treeline, nothing but us and the sheep for miles. 🔝🐏😍

I really loved the route today. The climbing was pretty tough but the downhill was amazing, a perfect grade to hold you steady and let you look around on the almost totally car free lanes.

Strong headwind and poor trails early to a beautiful rail trail and some tailwind in the afternoon. We are making a quick excursion from the south to north route to ride the C2C east and then the Hadrian’s Wall west. I have always wanted to ride these trails. Super excited.…
