A wonderful hour in the Kew Bridge steam museum. Completely by luck. They were in steam!

A gentle ride on fixed gear - with a route that deliberately took in the Twickenham river ferry. Lovely weather, and mostly quiet/traffic free for the first 2/3 of the ride.

Heaving with New Year’s Eve pre revellers.
Some cracking subterranean alleys today.
Lower Roberts street snakes under the Savoy, claims to be haunted, and is the scene of many a 60's gangster movie car chase.

The weather was the star of the ride. Incredible temperature for October.
The highlight was a spitfire passing overhead before the drop into Hungerford.
