:O – Okay, let’s play the game! 3. Orbit: Bergischer Schiefer

@Julian, thanks 🙏
My bonus on this tour was – like finding a needle in a haystack – encountering another Orbiter on the route: Julian
We then rode a large part of the route (about two-thirds) together, and probably helped each other out a few times – with resupply, technicals, and moral support.

Dreamy paths through marshlands and moors – an endless indulgence in nature observation! And the sun was shining, too.
Beaver tracks and spawning tree frogs – luckily, I was able to leave the frogs and toads unharmed on the trails.
Visit to Brüggen with its castle ruins – with a stop for a bite to eat

Challenging but worthwhile gravel circular tour!

It was very nice today, turned out to be a top combination. The goal was actually the newly

The highlights of the long tarred routes in the Bergisches Land - Balkantrasse and Nordbahntrasse, combined with natural beauty.
A challenging 100m route - but one that is also worth it for the eyes and soul: lots of greenery, water, half-timbered architecture, street art, wide views!

A wonderful and varied tour on the Lower Rhine between Kempen, Viersen and Nettetal.
At the stone labyrinth in Viersen (Aachener Weg) there is a good parking lot that can serve as a start and end point; otherwise, train stations in Boisheim or Kempen, for example, can also be chosen.

A beautiful (medium-sized) loop to connect idyllic stream valleys with the panoramic route. This is how you go through 7 cities with little traffic!
If you like, you can add the Neandertal (+1.5km).
Have fun following!
