I like early starts, long cross country off road routes, and I ride all year round.
My routes are mostly traffic free, I ride any sort of surface including dirt paths, woodland trails, gravel tracks, small quiet lanes, field paths, canal tow paths, anything to keep me off road.
Oh, and I like refreshment stops too, usually there's two or more depending how long the ride is.

Muddy trails in the dark, a first for me, good job I have a decent bike light 👍 Set off at 07.20, day break 08.15, first 6 miles was dark and I’d opted to go across Whiston Meadows to Treeton to meet Steve and Ashley. Quite good fun 👍👍🤪

Did a few of Rotherham’s landmarks, and a 1.7 mile walk through Wentworth Park, plus a fair bit of Mud Plugging on various trails. We had a fab time 👍👍

In York for a few days and we spent today on a walk n explore mission. Over to the river, to find it flooded and we couldn’t do the bank walk into the city. So we went for a coffee at Cycle Heaven, and a mooch round to see if there’s anything we ‘need’ 🤣😎 Ri er walk was flooded but the rest of the city was fine. We had a nice day and did a bit more mooching around the Xmas market, The Shambles & the Cathedral.

The forecast wasn’t good at all but we were going anyway. And as it turns out we never saw any rain all of the ride. A lovely ride with Dicky Katie Kev and Chris 👍👍
