Except for a short detour to Konstanz, you cycle through the whole of Switzerland today. On the way from Romanshorn to Kreuzlingen and Konstanz, you will always be on the shallow Lake Constance cycle path near the shore. You will pass many beautiful beaches and swimming spots that invite you to take a break and a refreshing swim in Lake Constance.About halfway you reach Konstanz, which is ideal for rest. In Constance, the Rhine connects the Obersee with the Untersee, which is the smaller of the two lakes of Lake Constance. After the break in Konstanz, your journey around Lake Constance will then continue in the direction of the west, along the banks of the Untersee. On the way to Stein am Rhein you come through pretty little villages, you can look right over the water and on the left hand you can admire the wooded hills. At the extreme tip, where the submarine merges into the Rhine, you finally reach the stage destination Stein am Rhein. Here, the old town invites you to a leisurely stroll to end the day. Accommodation and public transport, such as train or ferry are also available here.
