Der Start der Tour war am Dorfplatz in Tiefenthal zum Feuchtbiotop Appelbach. Nach einem kleinen Teich ging es in den Wald. Nach dem Aufstieg hatte man einen tollen Panoramablick bis zum Donnersberg. Man passiert einige frühere Grenzsteine und hat im Blickfeld das Dorf Mörsfeld. Nach Waldpassagen erreicht man das Appelbachtal und streift durch Wiesen um wieder hinab nach Tiefenthal zu gelangen.
