The route to Ryvoan opened up again just two days ago following the Big Fire back in July this year.
The surface to the bothy, but not beyond, has completely changed and not necessarily for the better IMHO.. Although not yet open still, the route towards Abernethy looks unchanged, at least from the bothy. I will return again once the Forest Lodge section to Ryvoan has reopened.
