Mit Zug und Bus auf's Preiner Gscheid, unser Ausgangspunkt zur Wanderung nach Mürzzuschlag. Es ging Richtung Tratenkogel und weiter nach Beeralplkopf, da wir auch die Scheibenhütte sehen wollen. Diese hat eine fantastische Lage mit Blick zur Schneealpe und Rax sowie zum Mürztal auf der anderen Seite. Der Abstieg war dann ziemlich steil und steinig. Ab Mürzzuschlag hat man halbstündlich sehr gute Zugverbindungen Richtung Wr. Neustadt.
