Leider ist auf den Quirl nur noch der einfache Kanonenweg gepflegt. Aufstieg zum Pfaffenstein auf den „Bequemen Weg“, Abstieg über den ebenso einfachen Klammweg (eher ein Treppenhaus). Der Pfaffenstein ist auf dem nicht ganz flachen Plateau durchaus lohnend (Barbarine, Dom, Opferkessel).
