Eigentlich bot sich Heustreu als Start für eine Radtour 50 bis 60 km mit möglichst viel Radweg, wenig Straßenverkehr an, auch bietet sich die Fränkische Saale hervorragend an. Tourvorschlag: Heustreu – Bad Neustadt – Bad Königshofen – und zurück an. Aber leider - es regnete. Also nach dem Frühstück reisefertig gemacht und die letzte Etappe in Angriff genommen.
