Die Tour verläuft überwiegend auf schmalem Pfad direkt auf der Gratscheide hoch über der Lagune Quilotoa, beeindruckende Tiefblicke und etwas Gänsehautfeeling inclusive. Aber nichts, was einen geübten und trittsicheren Wanderer beunruhigen sollte.
Wichtig ist angemessenes Schuhwerk - und eine gute Akklimatisierung, kratzt die Route doch an der 4000er Höhenmarke.
