TGEG26 Day 4

The final day! After another great breakfast, I head out into a gorgeous morning. However, near Bad Tölz, rain clouds threatened and it started to drizzle soon after.
The weather clear just has the climb up to the Achensee began. The sun was out and blazing by the time I reached the dam. However a headwind was building and the last 10 km to the lake were a real slog.
It was beach weather at the lake side. Absolutely wonderful. I stopped for an overpriced Currywurst and Radler. The temperature was already high and as I worked my way along the lakeside the water was calling me. I managed to resist taking a dip which I would soon regret.
Next was the death defying decent into the Inntal. I reached over 60 kph but also missed the turn off and almost ended up on the Autobahn! The last 40 km lay ahead with a brisk tailwind.
Progress towards Innsbruck was swift. However, the heat really began to take it's toll and I need to stop several times to drink something cold to recover. I managed not to get completely lost in the last few Kms and found the Sportler store and the finish.
