Beautiful sunny day, but mornings are cold now and takes a few hours to warm up. It's even hot enough to jump in a lake, which I do at lunchtime, discovering at the same time as I look for my drone battery pack, that it's not there where I usually keep in the dry bag with all other cables and batteries! Major panic! I've left it behind somewhere and can't at first think where. Then I remember taking it out and playing it on the table I was sat at in Toad River cafe some days ago. I telephone them and they confirm they have it, but this is like 400km away almost now so I have to figure out a way to get it back. Initially consider asking them to post it to Vancouver, so send an email before riding off another 40km and camping beside river at what feels like a decommmsioned or abadoned campsite. No one else here and very peaceful. Lots of firewood.
