Khong Chiam to Phibun Mangsahan
Riding on the 2222 highway which is not too busy and with a shoulder varying in width but always present. Lots of green, mostly trees as a scenery and rolling hills not to long and steep.

Chong Mek to Khong Chiam
Riding on the 217 for a while then the 2173. 217 has plenty of shoulder and a few good hills but not that long. The 2173 has no shoulder to one point but it's a quiet road. Before arriving at Khong Chiam, before crossing the bridge over the Mun I turned right and went at the end of the road where there is a nice village and a view of the Mekhong where it cease to be the border between Laos and Thailand.

Pakse, Laos to Chong Mek, Thailand.
Was lucky today, almost no head wind, mostly rear side wind. Also that stretch of the highway was not to busy with lots of room. Everything at the border crossing went smooth at both side.
