A two-day trip, partly on one of the best greenways in Europe. County Mayo is certainly worth a visit, especially for families searching for moderate routes. A mixture of quiet back-roads, of which some were very steep. Plenty of extensive sandy beaches. Well signed and part of the Wild Atlantic Way (Velo 1) with sections of the Great Western Greenway.
