A gentle cycle suitable for anyone, almost traffic free. Flat, scenic, single tarmac track, with passing places. Some sections of the road appear to have original surface from early last century, that’s how low the traffic flows are. Check out the grass running up the middle of the road. Also hugs the waters edge, in some places, literally. On a settled day, good views to Rothesay, and the hills surrounding Loch Striven. A very quiet area. This will be an exposed shoreline road in strong westerly winds and rain. Good food and drink at Colintraive Hotel.
