Volle Autobahnen in der Urlaubszeit. Das gilt auch für die bekannten Radverbindungswege in die Ausflugsregionen. Mein Ziel war heute diese Wege zu meiden und mir teilweise noch unbekannte Wege im Hinterland zu suchen. Der erste Teil der Strecke bis Henfenfeld war traumhaft, der folgende Abschnitt bis Happurg ist eher für Trailfahrer geeignet. Der Rückweg von Happurg bis über Nürnberg führte über interessante Ecken und hat von allem etwas geboten.

The highways are packed during the holiday season—and the same goes for the popular cycling routes to the main excursion areas. Today, my goal was to avoid those busy routes and explore some lesser-known roads and paths in the countryside instead. The first part of the ride was absolutely wonderful, while the next section was definitely more suited to trail riders. The return route via Nuremberg took me through some interesting areas and offered a bit of everything.
