Gamlebyen ist eine alte Festung, sehr schön, man kann einmal auf dem Wall drumherum gehen, in der kl. Altstadt gibt es ein paar Läden, Restaurants und eine Bäckerei (🥐🫓🍩🍰 seeehr lecker). Mit der kl. Fähre fährt mann von Haltestelle zu Haltestelle, zb zurück nach Fredrikstad Innenstadt.
