Von Calais kannte ich bisher nur das große Fährterminal. Um so überraschter war ich vom feinsandigen Strand, den vielen Kunstwerken und Murals. Ich machte Picknick direkt an der Fahrrinne der großen Autofähren und beobachtete die "Isle of Inishmore" beim Einlaufen, mit der ich auch schon nach England übergesetzt bin.
