Starting from the Camping & Caravan Club site on Star Bank, I cycled to Ashbourne then on country roads to Ilam, past Thors Cave and returned on the Manifold Trail to Waterhouses and the campsite. The ride from Ilam up to the top of the moor was a stiff climb but worth it.
