Kurz aber knackig hoch auf für den Nationalpark typischen Forstpisten. Die Kuhrointhütte liegt unweit unterhalb des Watzmannes. In 2 1/2 Stunden soll man von hinauf zum Watzmannhaus wandern können. Von der Archentkanzel hat man einen genialen Blick runter auf den Königssee mit St. Bartholomä.
