Hard start up the steep trail, a little easier as you go through the woods but still steep, steady climbing. Great views once at the top, leading to a steady rise before a long decent, opening eventually to a lovely meadow. The decent continues down through a wood until the suspension bridge. After crossing you skirt the lake, busy due to the proximity to the carpark.
From a wooded gentle down the route follows the road before taking a turn along a forested trail, the decent is mark but can be tricky to see.
Into the town and up to the carpark for a nice varied loop.
