From Butser Hill straight down the northern side, along Grandfather’s bottom, through some easy flat trails skirting East Meon. Crossing back over the road to walk up the gentle slope up the SDW, walking the ridge line with great views South to the IoW and North across the Meons. Following the SDW back the Butser.

Starting in Pitlochry the well marked trails skirt the River Tummel passing the. Pitlochry Dam, crossing the river several times as you walk the river up and down the banks crossing on some lovely bridges. Trails are well maintained and a section of road make this a clean easy walk. Finishing back in town gives you opportunity to explore local facilities for food and drink.
