Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT v2
What a nice day - it seemed to be going to be breezy and cool at first but turned out to be the ideal temperature plus the routes delivered today even though I had to put some road sections in to join them.
The only surprising / alarming elements were that after Thursday's rain there were sometimes sudden mini quagmires to deal with when rounding a corner in the bridleway. Still - made things interesting.
Tim and I met a group of veto ladies on a Richmond to Oxford epic ride at the Blue Tin. They seemed to be having a lot of fun but also seemed to have little idea of how they would all get back to their homes when they reached Oxford. Living on the edge. They were loving it.
The Blue Tin delivered - as usual a very nice place to be with lovely staff, good coffee and a selection of food. I declined the excellent looking chilli in order to make sure I could get home. The sausage roll I had was good - but I must say that the Stoke Row cafe sausage rolls have the edge.
In summary, we were moving well over 3 hours on some interesting and sometimes hilly tracks but came back in good shape. An ideal day out.
