Spicy country climbs took a while then came the Grossglockner.
Terrible saddle sores kicked in, I was searching routes back to Munich via train. Was more awkward to get back so just soldiered on. Very cold winds and icy rain between Heiligenblut and Hochtör. Took refuge in a plastic outpost for ski lift operators to let the storm pass. The more gels I wolfed, the better I felt.
The final climb to Edelweissspitz was rough - then the drop down had dense fog until 2000m. At least it was late in the evening so I had the road completely to myself.
Forgot to record the drop portion of the ride.
The last of the major climbing done. Munich awaits.
