Starting from the restaurant cafe follow the Charly tarmac rail trail for two km before going up a wide forest trail to reach a village.. Then a few hundred metres of quiet village and descend a forest trail into the Muellertal (past a thousand year old oak). The hike then follows the Muellertal downwards which is well shaded. Optionally you can make detours through rock passages on marked trails. We stuck to the family friendly main trail.. Exit the Muellertal to Consdorf (facilities).. Even if you don’t go to the heart of Consdorf there is potable water at the Charly trail which you reach on this route.. Then follow the tarmac-ed rail trail back to Becher Gare..
