from Batz-sur-Mer to Le Croisic
Wonderful coastal walk. Nice views, quite busy on a summer’s day but not overly so. Pretty villages of Batz and Le Croisic.. You can extend this walk by making it circular or taking the ferry to Pon Ben.. Alternatively take the train back to the start

from Snowdown to Dover
Last segment of the North Downs Trail using trains to start and from finish.. Detour via Barfreston was 100% worth it.. Last 10km a bit boring

Chianti feeling close to Florence
A short walk above Grassina with fabulous views into Chianti and Pian di Giullari... An easy stroll for those short on time.. Assume about 50 minutes for a 4km/hr pace and add half an hour if you start the walk in Grassina.. No water en route
