Ride with Gezza for the day. Beautiful blue skies and forestry trails. A fair bit of climbing, especially around Comox lake later in the day. Also 2 bear sightings while I have the drone in the air.
Nice to have company on the road, although we are rarely riding side by side together. She has her car parked in Comox, which is close to where I am headed to catch up and stay with Dave Conroy - last seen in Tanzania where he stayed with me in 2013.
Say bye to Gezza and ride to Dave's address. He's been here 7 years with his Zambian wife Irene - first time I've met her. Lovely big house and location. And great to catch up and take some rest days here.
