Classica facile, metà soprattutto estiva e autunnale, ma con la neve è di una bellezza impareggiabile.
A Ponte Marmora svoltare per Marmora e poi a dx per il Preit. Oltrepassare la borgata e parcheggiare a Grange Selvest.
Attraversato il ponticello svoltare a dx. Lunga forestale, che alla casa del margaro doventa finalmente sentiero. Molto dritto fino al pianoro col piccolo lago innominato. Seguire poi il sentiero e scendere al Lago Nero.
Consigliato l'anello, scendendo nel bosco di larici: eterno, lunghissimo, ma molto appagante.
Ora il sentiero è parzialmente coperto da neve molle e molto scivolosa. Ramponcini consigliati.
