Eerste dag van mijn zesdaagse wandeling langs Hadrians Wall. Met boot en bus hier gekomen. Gestart in het centrum, in de regen. Rondwandeling in de stad gemaakt en naar een soort startpunt van de route gelopen. Het echte startpunt lag iets te ver uit mijn richting. Vanaf daar richting mijn eerste overnachting.
