After last week's rather dull outing on the North Worcestershire Path, this walk was an absolute delight! The walk starts at Adams Hill and is straight into the woods of Clent Hill. Clent Hill has a number of paths that take you through superb beech woods with many magnificent trees that are currently enhanced by the covering of Bluebells in many parts of the woods. It's a good climb up to the highest point of Clent Hill with it's four stones and expansive views. The route then descends to St Kenelms Pass, along a short section of road before the gradual climb up to Walton Hill, Walton Hill is more open than Clent Hill, but also has magnificent views to the south and west, to the distant Malvern, Abberley and Clee hills. A long descent follows, that emphasizes that Wlaton Hill is quite big, before mainly contouring around the lower slopes of the hills back to Clent. As the route re-enters the woods of Clent Hill there a couple of quite steep pulls before returning to the start point.
An excellent walk, will definitely be back for another look at Clent Hill in particular.
