Pleasant loop, nothing particularly technical at any part of it, we took it at a fairly leisurely pace as we had a whole day, glad we took the Minfford path on the way up rather than the other way as just going up endless steps on the Mynydd Moel path…

South Snowdonia Day 1 - Machynlleth to Bryncrug
Beautiful views and technically easy paths. The only mild complication was the downhill from Tarren Hendre which is about 35ish%.
The problem with the path was at the end however as the path between Dolgoch and Brynglas is marked as a public footpath when it is actually just private land…

Stage 12: Alcester to Stratford-upon-Avon — Monarch's Way
A pretty relaxed walk across the fields and rolling hills. Not the most exciting but we did want to tick off this stage of Monarchs's way for a while now

Hike from Ruabon to Llangollen
Casual pace, nursing a somewhat injured heel.
I've been to the area a few times but generally avoided crossing Ruabon Mountain part as it always looked... Rather boring. And I now it's confirmed, that part is indeed rather boring.
Still we came out onto Craig Arthur and Craig yr Adair…

From Hagley to Stourbridge via Clent and Walton hills
Nice Sunday morning out. Got out early before it got warmer and tried to keep a fast pace across the route. Quite happy with the results

From Cleobury Mortimer to Angel Bank
A nice day out, despite the weather! We started a bit late so didn't quite have the time to go all the way to Ludlow but all in all a very nice outing.
Paths are pretty simple throughout and no technical terrain there.

Stourport-on-Severn to Abberley Loop
Lovely route and also very varied. Had a bit of everything this time around. Including some wonderful and quiet woods, a nettle infested hill and the absolutely gorgeous Witley Court.
A great long walk especially if the weather is on your side.

2026 Lakes Day 6 - Glenridding to Pooley Bridge
The final day which we kept nice and simple as we essentially skirted Ullswater till we got to Pooley Bridge.
Paths in decent condition and very few (if any) technical sections.
