Godabong is a female elder deity with Go meaning old woman and Dang meaning house. Godangbong sits at 801.5mt and it's the tallest peak in Busan.
Beomeosa Temple was founded in 625-702 by Uisang an eminent monk of the Silla period (57 BCE) it was completely destroyed during the Japanese invasion of 1592-98. And it was rebuilt in 1613 by a monk Myogeon .
