Crosswinds are pretty common, otherwise easy stretch all the way to the lighthouse. On the way back the loop over Virginia keys makes sense if you want to see some Iguanas of other wildlife (I.e. raccoons in the evening) I liked the beaches at the northern side of Virginia Island and the shortcut through the Mangrove forests. The Mountain Bike park is pure fun.
Beware of the bridge it is tough when energy levels are already low…
