Lovely hike through Whitbarrow Nature Reserve. Quite a steep climb to get up onto Whitbarrow but then you are rewarded with great views on all sides. I think taking this route clockwise is probably better because otherwise you would have quite a steep descent on a slippery rock strewn muddy narrow path.
