Zur Königshovener Höhe und dann über die Fahrradstraße nach Norden gefahren. Die Fahrradstraße "verläuft im Sande". Über Sandwege geht es dann an den nördlichen Rand des Tagebaus. Vorbei am Aussichtspunkt und über die geretteten Dörfer Keyenberg und Berverath geht's dann zurück.
